    Hi everyone,

I’m confused about whether a keybox is needed to pass Device Integrity.

I have read several posts that say a keybox is only needed if you want to pass Strong Integrity. They say you can still pass Basic Integrity and Device Integrity without a keybox.

But when I made a topic asking for help with Device Integrity, several people told me that I have to wait until new keyboxes are available.

So I’m not sure which information is correct.

    Can someone please explain this?

Is it possible to pass Device Integrity without a valid keybox, or is a keybox required for Device Integrity too?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Which Android version are you using? It changed starting with Android 13.

On versions before Android 13, you could usually pass Device Integrity by using a certified fingerprint.

On Android 13 and newer, a valid keybox is generally required to pass Device Integrity.
